Bedfordshire is a county of eastern England. This is where the land reaches its maximum height with 243 meters of Dunstable Downs. Shortly far are situated the towns of Dunstable and Luton. The county seat is the city of Bedford, located on the Great Ouse in the center of the county. Another important center in the south of the county is Leighton Buzzard on the Grand Union Canal.
