The Hamburg Christmas Markets (Weihnachtsmärkte in Hamburg) are a total of seven, the most important is the Historic Christmas Market (Weihnachtsmärkte auf dem Rathausmarkt) which takes place in the Town Hall Square (Rathausmarkt) which features numerous wooden chalets with products Christmas markets and many attractions and games for children. On the outskirts of the city there are five other markets, interesting are the traditional Christmas markets of Bergedorf and Harburg.

City Center Christmas Markets:
1) Historic Christmas Market and Town Hall Market (Historischer Weihnachtsmarkt auf dem Rathausmarkt). Usually every day at 16.00, 18.00 and 20.00 you can see flying Santa Claus (fliegende Weihnachtsmann) above the Hamburg Town Hall (Hamburger Rathaus). While the Christmas Parade (Hamburger Weihnachtsparade) usually takes place every Saturday in Advent at 13.00 and 17.00.
