Eguisheim Christmas Market

Eguisheim is a small village in Alsace located just 5km from Colmar. The country is characterized by delightful architecture, full of flowers and very suggestive. Eguisheim is famous for being an important center for the production of Alsatian wine. The Eguisheim Christmas market is the main annual event of this historic Alsatian village. The floral tradition of Eguisheim is also famous.

EGUISHEIM CHRISTMAS MARKET

1) Eguisheim Christmas Market (Marché de Noël) in Place du Marché aux Saules and in Place Mgr Stumpf. Traditional Christmas market which is usually dedicated to a different theme every week, but always with reference to the crafts and trades of the past. The Eguisheim Christmas market is usually set up in the picturesque center of the village and occupies the main squares. In a magical environment you will find about thirty artisans and merchants offering their products.

2) Market of the Three Kings (Marché des rois mages). This traditional market, which has the arrival of the Three Kings and the Epiphany as its theme, usually takes place after the end of the other market on Place du marché and Place Mgr Stumpf.
